Welcome to Beachfront Wainui
Some say “on the beach”, some say “by the sea”, some say “beachfront” — we say "absolutely on the beach", any closer to the water and we’d be in the wave zone. Beachfront Wainui is a 4-plus bedroom (there’s a separate sleepout), holiday house available for vacation rental on one of the country’s best known surfing beaches.
We are at the southern end of Wainui Beach in front of the surfbreak known as "Stockroute", just five minutes drive from Gisborne city. Sunbathe, swim, surf or simply chill out watching the surf on our sun-drenched front deck perched over the beach. Entertain yourselves and friends in our private BBQ courtyard built to catch the late evening glow.
Make yourselves totally at home in the generous open plan layout of the house. Wainui Beachfront is the perfect accommodation choice for both a romantic getaway for two, or a fun-filled holiday-by-the-sea for large families or groups of friends.
Features
Sleeps 12. 4 bedrooms sleep up to eight inside, plus an external sleepout (with TV/video) sleeps 4 in bunks, great for the kids or the extra crowd. We are off the main highway in a very quiet location with easy off-road parking for several vehicles. Walk to the dairy, cafe, bar and restaurant. The house overlooks “Stockroute”, one of New Zealand’s best surf breaks. You can use our sea kayak and there are crayfish pots available.

Lounge: Sky TV, video, stereo and CD player. Kent Log Fire with wood available. Local artists' work displayed. Books and magazines.
Outdoors: Gas BBQ, 6-seater table, patio umbrella. Front and back decks with deck chairs, sun umbrellas.
